Supply Chain Risk Management Program Manager | Federal Aviation Administration’s Logistics Center
Andy Singer is the Supply Chain Risk Management Program Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration’s Logistics Center. He started his logistics career in the United States Marine Corps where he supported Marines with beans, bullets and bandages for over 10 years. Following his Marine Corps career he came to the FAA Logistics Center. In his 25 years there, he has gained experience in all aspects of logistics and parts management, warehouse operations, acquisition, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations, sustainment and system support. In March of 2020 Andy was asked to develop a Supply Chain Risk Management Program designed to meet numerous requirements including federal regulations, those from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and other government agencies. In this role, he has spent the last two plus years researching and studying the supply chain landscape, partnering with industry and other government SCRM activities and gathering knowledge to be used in managing and securing the FAA Logistics Center’s supply chain and ensuring the safe and effective operation of the nation’s airspace.
